You will be able to inspire students to achieve highly across the ability range – with the potential for A-Level teaching also. The successful candidate will be committed to supporting teachers to excel and be skilled at developing high quality teaching strategies and materials. As Deputy CTL for Mathematics, you will be responsible for:
• Assisting Curriculum Team Leader in managing the Mathematics department, overseeing curriculum planning, delivery, assessment and tracking, with a likely focus on one key stage.
• Promoting and supporting professional development and best practices.
• Ensuring high standards of teaching and learning within the department and continued professional development for the team.
• Monitoring and evaluating student progress in one key stage across the range of abilities.
