Start: ASAP - to work during school holidays from Weds 24th July to Friday 30th August

Salary: NMW according to age:

                               Under 18 years of age: £6.40 per hour

                               Aged 18 to 20: £8.60 per hour

                               Aged 21 and over: £11.44 per hour

Location: Bitton (near Bristol/Bath)

Contract: Flexible hours – 11 hours over 2 days minimum, more hours available

Zest Childcare, part of Futura Commercial Services within Futura Learning Partnership and are looking for lively and enthusiastic person to join our Zest Childcare Team based at The Meadows Primary School (Bitton). This role is for hours to be allocated for our successful Holiday Club. The hours can be negotiated and are based on need of the provision, but we do require a minimum of 10 or 11 hours per week. Each working shift is 5 or 5.5 hours. There will be opportunity for additional hours across the school holiday period.

Working hours Monday to Friday inclusive,

Shift 1: from 7.45am to 1.15pm (5.5 hours) OR

Shift 2: from 1.15pm to 6.15pm (5 hours)

Play Assistants organise, plan and take part in play activities with the children within our care. You will supervise the children efficiently whilst ensuring the children are happy and safe at all times.

Level 2 Childcare or equivalent qualification would be an advantage as would a paediatric 1st aid qualification.

You do not necessarily need qualifications as we will invest in your training if you can demonstrate the right attributes for working with children.
