SEMH Specialist Primary Teaching Assistant

Start: 1st September 2020

Salary: Grade 4, points 7 - 8

  (£19,554 - £19,945) Full-time equivalent

  (£15,822 - £16,139) actual pro-rata

Location: Odd Down, Bath.

Contract: 35 hours, Term Time Only + 5 INSET days

Term: Part-time, fixed term for 1 academic year

Wellsway Multi Academy Trust is at an exciting stage in its development. The Trust currently comprises of thirteen schools with more planning to join and is moving towards its vision of being a truly inclusive provider of 4-19 education in East Bristol and Bath.

Aspire Academy is a 4 – 16 SEMH specialist provision that joined WMAT in 2014. It currently has 59 pupils on roll and is at an exciting stage of its development as we plan for this number to increase over the next few years.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work within the Primary Centre. You must be passionate about working with children and young people and enjoy being part of team that supports students in order to help them to achieve their educational potential and live positive, fulfilling lives.

The working hours are:

  • Monday to Friday: 8.30am - 4.00pm
