Your Role in Building Brighter Futures
As a Teaching Assistant at Chandag Primary School, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about living our values and making a positive impact on all the young people in our Trust.

As Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Supervising and supporting pupils, ensuring their safety and access to earning
Establishing constructive relationships with pupils and promoting inclusion
Supporting the use of ICT and encouraging pupil independence
Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback
Assisting with planning, delivering and evaluating learning activities
Supporting implementation of behaviour and individual education plans
Preparing learning materials, displays, and general admin tasks
Supporting school activities including lunchtimes and trips
What You’ll Bring to Futura
We are looking for a supportive and proactive Teaching Assistant who:
Good standard of education (5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or above) – Essential
Relevant TA qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3) – Desirable
First Aid qualification – Desirable
Experience supporting pupils in the classroom – Desirable
Experience supporting pupils with additional needs – Desirable
Understanding of classroom roles and principles of child development – Essential
Strong communication skills and ability to engage pupils
Able to support a range of pupils, including those with additional needs
Good use of initiative and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Effective use of ICT to support learning
Demonstrates a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of our school community.
Aligns with our trust-wide values by bringing a positive, collaborative approach to their work and a willingness to continuously develop professionally.
